The WinTree Complaints Registration function will provide an easy way of tracking complaints from customers and/or suppliers. Complaints can be automatically generated by WinTree or entered manually. In the complaints registration system only complaints are entered, no stock or purchasing is modified; a complaint can be the result of a change in stock or purchasing. The Complaints Registration function can be used to evaluate the suppliers on a regular basis.


Complaints Registration can be used in any combination of modules. WinTree Nursery Manager Basic can also register complaints. To register complaints from suppliers and the corresponding evaluation, the Purchase module is necessary. 

ShowParameters

Before use can be made of the Complaints Registration function, the following parameters must be activated:

ShowBasic information

To register complaints, the following basic info must be entered:

  • Complaint type
  • Employees, at least one employee to register complaints.
  • Supplier codes

TSD recommends starting with a limited number of complaint types. Once you have gained sufficient experience in registration, you can easily extend the number of complaint types.

ShowMaintain complaints

Complaints are registered via various menus in Wintree, depending on the way a complaint type has been defined. Complaints can for example be registered when sales lines are returned or when the amounts have been modified upon receipt of purchase batches. All registered complaints are visible via the menu Contact -> Maintain complaints

ShowEvaluate suppliers

Based on the registered complaints, it is possible to evaluate a supplier. The menu Contacts -> Evaluate suppliers is available for this. Obviously, this menu only functions if the Purchases module in WinTree is active.

ShowRegistering complaints

If when you create a complaint type you specify that a complaint must be registered after a certain action in WinTree (Basic info Complaints, tab page "Use"), then a “Register complaint” window will automatically be opened. It is also possible to enter a complaint manually, without any change being made. For more information on registering complaints, read Registration of complaints.
